Step 1: Wake up, chin up, walk tall.
Step 2: Breakfast, load up, full steam ahead.
Step 3: Explore a little, and then some.
Step 4: Work, fight with numbers, feel accomplished by day’s end.
Step 5: Retire for the day, rest, look forward to weekends that hold adventure, promise, and a lot of things that can’t be measured in steps.
When you’re young, and in the face of something old, there’s that tugging draw to know, because you witness wisdom that is incomparable to yours. You see its skin, and on it is etched a thousand days of history. You see its walls, marked with symbols and faces and cracks. You know only minutes of its life. You are small.
Remember that you are small, but inside you are infinite. You have universes inside you.
